  • Stop making purchases with your card 1 week before the date you wish to close your account.

Airport transfer options

You have a few different options for getting to the airports of Paris.

Public Transportation to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport

Purchase a ticket for €9,25.  Take the RER B to  “ROISSY/CHARLES de GAULLE.”

Public Transportation to Orly Airport

Go to Denfert Rochereau to catch the Orlybus.  You can purchase a ticket on the bus for €7.

***Remember that your Navigo cards are de-zoned on weekends and holidays, which means you can reach the airports for free on those days.

By Taxi
You may wish to take a taxi (a good idea if you have heavy bags). Please note that taxis charge 1€ extra per bag for handling luggage. The trip should cost approximately 50€. You may either wait at a taxi stand, or call ahead to reserve a taxi.  Tipping is generally expected: 10% of the fare indicated on the meter. Be sure to use a licensed taxi which you’ll find at labelled taxi stands.

By Reserved Shuttle
A cheaper alternative to a taxi can be to take a shuttle. NYU Paris has a partnership with
Paris Shuttle—you can get the reduced rate by clicking on this link:
–Select a Shared Shuttle Transfer and you’ll be picked up along with other passengers at a
reduced rate of 25€
–Select Private Transfer and have a solo ride to the airport at a reduced rate of 64€ (you can reserve a private transfer with a group of friends and divide the cost (64€) amongst yourselves).
These shuttles book up quickly, and especially during student departure, so it is recommended that you reserve in advance. You can reserve by phone or online at
